About Me

My name is Scarlett Gonzales Cortes, I am an international student. I was born and raised in Honduras, a small country located in Central America.

I have been studying at MiraCosta College for 3 years and graduated with two Associate Degrees: one in Architectural Design and the other in Liberal Arts: Math and Sciences. Also received Certificates of Achievement Architecture Design, and IGETC both with Highest Honor.

I have made the President's List and Honor Roll multiple times. I have held several positions in the college: as peer leader, student advocate, Maker Lab assistant, and volunteered on numerous events on and off campus. I was awarded the Nancy and Mark Winski Scholarship and the Elizabeth Reid Memorial Endowed Scholarship.

I am a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, and I have been certified by the Emerging Leadership Institute.

I have been accepted to the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona for the Architecture bachelor degree program. I have a great passion for design, and I have a great desire to continue my studies on Fall 2019.

I would deeply appreciate your support and generosity.
